  1. Gobi's no slouch in the good looks dept either. BTW Michele, you can call me Aimee.
  2. Definitely try to see a veterinary ophthalmologist. They will be able to pinpoint things a regular vet (even a very good one) will miss. I have had two greyhounds with pannus. With Tipper, I caught it very early, and what started out as twice-daily eyedrops are now a very easy maintenance level of twice weekly, as prescribed by the ophthalmologist. Tip's visible symptoms decreased to the point where a regular vet can't even tell he has pannus anymore. And yes, if it shows up in one eye, it is possible for it to show up in the other down the road. But do not treat until diagnosed.
  3. I am so very sorry, Diane.
  4. Maybe you could wrap up the foot he's using to scratch? So his toenails aren't damaging the skin when he does scratch.
  5. Cora is soooo beautiful and sweet. I'm very very sorry for your loss.
  6. What a beautiful little pup. I am very sorry for your loss.
  7. Such a sweet beautiful boy. I'm glad I got to meet him, however briefly. So so sorry he had to go so soon.

  10. YAY for good news! Boo for annoying lazy vets.
  11. Wow, for such a godawful beginning, I can't believe how well this has turned out so far! Outstanding!
  12. What a touching tribute to a beautiful special girlie. I am very very sorry for your loss.
  13. I would guess coincidence. I know of several hounds with corns, but none have ever had toenail problems. And the one I know who has toenail problems (SLO) has never suffered from corns.
  14. Yay! SO happy to hear Riley's feeling better!
  15. I wouldn't wrap it unless something looks out of joint or bloody. If it's only a bit swollen, you could soak the foot in epsom salts in warm water a couple times today. Might ease the swelling a tad.
  16. No brilliant ideas that haven't been thought of already. Just for sweet gator-jaws Ry-Ry. Hope he feels better soon.
  17. He is a breathtakingly handsome boy, and deeply loved. I am very sorry for your loss.
  18. What a beautiful and heartfelt tribute to a truly beautiful boy. I am very sorry for your loss.
  19. That is how I was instructed to administer it as well.
