  1. It really depends, Conner didn’t want to eat until the next day, but wanted to drink a lot. Sallie had 22 teeth extracted and wanted her kibble that evening . Probably Peggy won’t want much to eat until the next day, and soft, soft, soft! They are usually back to normal in about two days. If she has extractions, be sure you have some old towels to put under her head, she will almost certainly have bloody drool.
  2. I am so sorry Beautiful Tessa Marie
  3. Yes, it could be a number of things, only your vet, and x-rays, can tell for sure.
  4. Well, of course he is not going to touch it while you are watching! He is too smart for that
  5. Yes, one of my dogs favorites as well, but it may smell worse than green tripe!
  6. I know, my last two are stacked up in the bedroom, and Conner prefers that bed over the two newer bolsters. Prefers, as in, pouts and whines and leaves the room if Val is on it
  7. That could be. There was a rumor a couple of years ago that Costco was discontinuing their bolster beds. The beds disappeared for about six months, then came back with new covers.
  8. when I was a kid I often had sardines and crackers (plain old saltines) for lunch. Your daughter’s Spanish husband reminds me of my cousin’s husband from Nicaragua who ate black beans every single day. He said he had to or he would die
  9. We started out with a regular sardine Saturday, but that wasn’t good enough for them, so now it’s Wednesday AND Saturday or Sunday. I’m pretty sure they would eat them everyday but I want to keep it special. I get the ones in water, but tomato sauce is ok too.
  10. such a roller coaster you and poor Jeff have been on! hoping that he will start to improve, and I know he will be happier at home.
  11. Oh no! I wonder if I have room to store a couple in the hoarder room...
  12. sorry, those of my dogs that are on GD are from the ladies on your list.
  13. I agree about asking your vet about mirtazapine. I've had both my old cats on it, who both have/had kidney disease, and it definitely keeps/kept them eating.
  14. Conner has been on Gabapentin for a few years and I get it filled at Costco, it is the “human” drug.
  15. I expect your. Eat will check for the obvious things, pain and such, but I agree with Irene, both the things she was on affected her emotions (in a good way it sounds like) she is probably experiencing some withdrawal. Hope it turns out to be something minor!
  16. Fletcher picked up giardia from eating feral cat poop, I understand it doesn’t always show up in a fecal.
