  1. My vet recommended HempRx, but it is pretty expensive. I have been using UrbalActiv which is the same strength but a little less expensive. It seems to work just as well. urbalactiv.com
  2. I thought it was pretty funny, but reading some of the reviews, I guess I can kind of see how it would be good for some dogs.
  3. Things sounding better for June! Best would be if they were not sick at all, but at least June is treatable, and you saved some money, too. for Sidney
  4. Awww I have a friend that adopted a 10yr old returned cat. It took her resident cat a few weeks to stop hissing, but she caught Newton grooming Tater the other day, so it just takes a little time
  5. Ok, I got the fat content part wrong Lots of foods have some natural sodium, it should never be enough to be a problem unless you/your pet is on a severely restricted sodium diet.
  6. I am assuming this is just ground turkey, no additives? It should be fine. I would be more concerned about fat, I think turkey has more fat than chicken (but I could be wrong ) but if you are cooking it like you said, that should render out enough fat for it to not be a problem.
  7. The first thing my dogs learn is “move please” Generally (obviously there are plenty of exceptions) I have found that the girls are more independent.
  8. Like the others have said, this is a good thing and she is fine. Both of mine used to greet me at the door whenever I came home, now, maybe one will, maybe both, but often neither will bother to get up. Sometimes I am not even sure they wake up I say "No, no, don't get up on my account!" Sarcasm is not appreciated
  9. what a handsome boy! I had a sink sleeper/faucet drinker I am so glad he came home with you. Olive will come around (eventually )
  10. Out of the lap! Out of the lap! there are days when I ask them to remind me why I put up with them and their BS. they always do
  11. I am always amazed at how fast these dogs usually bounce back from multiple tooth extractions. Glad she is feeling better!
  12. I think it can vary quite a bit from dog to dog. I’ve had a few that oozed and drooled more than I expected, and longer. As long as she is oozing rather than freely bleeding I wouldn’t worry. If the bleeding seems heavy, I would take her in (or to the evet if yours isn’t open)
  13. I am so sorry you got the double whammy! and
  14. My first broodie was very sweet, but had definite opinions. One of her favorite responses (as I interpreted it) was I am so sorry to be disobliging but I cant possibly do that. I am sure you understand Oh, and if I still didnt seem to get it, I am sure she said, bless your heart You southern ladies know what that means!
  15. Yeah, stubborn broodie Sounds like she wants to be in charge of the walks
  16. I wish I had some suggestions but I've never had to deal with statuing. You are doing everything I can think of. What is her attitude when she stops, does she seem afraid, nervous, curious, annoyed?
  17. :beatheart Isn’t it odd how the oldies seem to be more comfortable trotting than walking. Conner is very wobbled and gimpy at a walk, but trots along like a healthy young guy.
  18. I think I see one paw touching the floor. She's new to retirement, she is still learning
  19. Glad he is home, they generally do better and heal faster at home if it is at all possible.
