I'm not an expert, so take this for what it's worth, but it sounds like an infection to me, too. Also, remember when thinking about costs, the e-vet is usually a lot more expensive than the same tests/treatment from your regular vet.

Pacific Stream here too. Mine are all raw fed at night, but to save time and money, I switched to TOTW for the morning feed. The girls get it every day, Fletcher (IBD) can tolerate it a couple of times a week. I tried, I think the Prairie one, but they did better on Pacific Stream. This is the only kibble Fletcher can eat at all.

Molly is my whiner, and she's taught Sallie to whine Fair trade I guess, Sallie taught Molly to bark It really annoys me at times, but luckily they don't whine or bark after we go to bed! No advice for you, nothing I've tried has worked (but I haven't tried the squirt bottle)

I am so sorry you and Goldie are going through this. I know you will do what is best for her, and you will know when its time. I recently went through one of those "better a day too soon..." decisions with one of my cats. It is so hard, but I am sure it is the right decision. edited to add for snow!
