I'm rethinking my non-Dewey plans. A greyhound friend (dante2zoe) found us a 5K in Lewes on Saturday. If we make a "surgical strike" drivnig down on Friday and returning Sunday, I can fit in my favorite things: getting Merc's toenails clipped by God's Greyts walking the beach meeting up with WFUBCC members for lunch shopping the second hand collars and coats (still looking for a raincoat) letting Mercury buy his girlfriend Ivy an ice ream at the Nittany Ice Cream Social meeting new greyhound people, maybe even Rocket's Daddyman So, it's a big MAYBE.

Y'all are motivating me. I hate the process because Mercury hates the process. I've tried chicken flavored toothpaste, using the enzyme gel (thinking it'll do some of the work if I give the teeth a lick and a promise). I give frozen chicken feet when I can get them, which is not often. The video is excellent and I am taking all your suggestions to heart. Thanks.

Mercury is too! Dodgem By Design sired his dam, Striking Sheila. Merc was born DKC Dave. He ran just one season and retired to his rightful place on the couch.

I don't think I'm going this year. There were a couple of factors: It's no longer the same weekend as Dewey Goes Pink. I had an amazing experience last year running my first 5K. Ducky's not going. She was my roomie last year and we had a greyt time! Very few of the WFUBCC members are going. Our Club pizza lunch (with pizza bones for the hounds) was one of the highlights of the trip. I dearly would have liked to meet you Rocket's Daddyman.

My Mercury is similar, refusing water when it's hothothot out. Of course, people will offer water. I'll politely refuse explaining we have water but he won't drink now. At which point... they will offer Mercury water.... and he'll drink. Now I look like a bad greymom and he looks like a poor deprived houndie. Little stinker.
