My heart goes out to you. It is clear from your post how very much you love Arrow and want to do right by him. You have received so much good advice already, the only thing I would add is a thought that many of us here have when faced with a similar decision: It is better a day too soon than a day too late. You will know. Arrow is living in the moment and although it can be difficult, you should try to do the same and smile and laugh and love him up every single minute. You will know when it's time.

You gave that handsome man the best time of his life. He knows I'm so sorry you didn't get to love and spoil him longer. Godspeed Murphy.

And he may not need to stay on a high dose of Pred after starting with the loading dose. Often, a small dose every day or a slightly larger dose every other day can do wonders. I understand your frustration, hang in there and best of luck with your boy.

FWIW, Murphy doesn't know why you are sad. It's another one of those "hardest things" to do for us to put on a brave face in front of our fur kids when all we want to do it lose it. I hope you have a wonderful weekend together, laffing and smiling at each other.
