    I'm sorry you and your pup went through this. Greyhounds are one of the breeds that can have adverse reactions to heart worm meds, not common but can happen. There are a couple of natural options you may want to look into.

    Two weeks as Chris stated is typical however some pups it can be longer depending on various factors. Managing pain is hard to get right but is crucial. A chat with the vet is in order.

    Some day you will smile when you think of these things, Mac wouldn't want it any other way. Losing a pup is very hard and little things will happen that put you back there with them and wishing for just one more day. To Mac, a very special pup sorely missed.

    It usually is. The trick with no AC is open windows only at night and close during the day. This uisly keeps the house cooler than outside but some variables can change this.
