When I adopted my girl, she looked absolutely black, but within a month she became this gorgeous red brindle (I guess it was a better diet, etc). If Cocoa had a "happy tail", better that it was taken care of now. Chica had one and we finally had it docked after 8 years. Each time it opened, it looked like a massacre had happened at our house and cleaning it up was a trip.
