Feisty49
Interesting x-rays. I've never seen a duck like that. Yah, that's a lot of money for a duck. I don't know at what point I'd say, "I can't afford this any more," for my Annie Bella. I hope I never have to find out. tbhounds
I would go foward with the surgeries (if I could). I don't place a $ amount on one life over another.

Guest greysmitten
Great list! The baby bottle nipples don't surprise me - Azi has chewed the tops off of many, including those on pacifiers. But holy - the Gorilla Glue graph is scary.

PrairieProf
Wow. Wonder if they make muzzles with poop guards for ducks?? Beth has Doberman friends who have gotten in trouble eating a lot of nasty stuff -- they'll scarf down whatever inedible objects they can find at the park. Really stresses their mom out. Makes me VERY glad the worst thing Beth likes to eat is frozen poop. My boss and I were just talking a few days ago about the things his young BeaBull (Beagle-Bulldog mix, one of the new designer mutt breeds ) has eaten and her items pale in comparison to these. I had to send the link to him, though....he'll get a laugh out of it on Monday. Sorcha
Back in the 90's I had a lab that ate a dustbuster vacuum cleaner. The x-ray showed all the wiring and the big plug that goes into the outlet.
MP_the4pack
My friend in KY has a beagle/basset mix that ate gorilla glue. He went for emergency surgery and the vets took out a wad of glue the size and shape of a football. It was just about the same size as that little dog. (name Elrod). For some reason that name seems to fit. He survived.
