Guest WarmheartedPups Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 I cant believe I am typing this note. Roo is gone...just like that. Amongst other health issues, Roo had Laryngeal Paralysis....a mild case.....until tonight. It all happened so fast. We came home from dinner and entered the house....Roo was so glad to see us....she started to choke and breathe heavy..gasping for air.....I tried to calm her down.. Within one minute her tongue was blue. We got her in the truck ASAP to go to the ER VET.... even though she couldnt breathe....she was wagging her tail cause she thought she was going to the Lake..... I laid her in my lap... within one minute or so she was gone.... We drove to the ER Vet anyway...and I just held her and talked to her the whole time. The ER Vet took her from my arms...confirmed she was dead....I said goodbye....and she was gone. I am in shock...it happened so so fast. I miss my girl....Roo...RooBelle...The Wonderful Wedder Dog...Rooster....Ruler....she was my girl...the best dog. My only consolation is that she is with Otis now.... Too many tears to write anything else now...GoodBye Victorian Ruler...you beautiful dog...you sweetheart....You never asked for anything...always up to mischief....always wanting an Ear Scritch....you are in my heart....Forever. They were both two of the most amazing dogs. That always has been evident when you were talking about them. Roo was loved by all who knew her. We will always remember her.
