Cully Posted March 16, 2010 Share Posted March 16, 2010 It is with a heavy heart that I share with eveyone the passing of Cobra. I had to help Cobra cross the bridge this morning. Cobra was meet at the bridge by his Mom, Dad, and greyhound sister Carol Ann. I was so honored to have had Cobra in our lives for almost 10 yrs. Cobra came to our house as a foster dog almost 10 yrs ago. He was here for 6mo before I took him to his mom & dad's house. When I took him over there I told them that the only way I would let him stay was if they would let me come see him when sometimes. I would go see him at least once a month. When Cobra's dad got sick with cancer he came over to stay with us for a while. We tried to make it easier for the family. After his dad passed way Cobra went home for a while. When Cobra's mom got sick it was decided that he would come stay with us and I would take him over to see his mom at least once a month. She then passed away in December of the same year. It was then decided that he would just finish his life out here with us. Cobra was the biggest calmest greyhound. I think I only heard him bark once in the time I knew him. You could tell Cobra was happy about sonmething when he would pick up his ball and carry it around. Run free sweet baby boy. I hope to see you again someday.
