Guest greytmomof3
After losing three of my boys in 2009, I was very hesitant to adopt. I met a few that I thought about, but just couldn't make the decision. Well, we got a haul yesterday from Kansas. This dark brindle boy came off the haul and I was smitten right away. Then he did the hard sell. Everytime I came outside he pulled towards me. Then came the kisses. Well, before it was his turn to get in the shower he was adopted. I decided that he was the one for me. Once he settled in after a good meal, I went through the paperwork and found that this boy was meant to be. He comes from the same farm as my boy Duncan, who I lost in April, and had the same racing owner. Needless to say, I believe in my heart that Duncan sent me this boy. His name is Elliot, racing name CS Elliot, and he is a two and a half dark brindle. I never adopt greyhounds under 5, but he has a very laid back older feel to him. He has a small roman nose, a very bad under bite (when his mouth is closed his bottom K9's stick out), and a cute bend to his tail. He is not perfect, but he is perfect for me!! So here he is, my boy Elliot: Here he is resting in the front office, this was the day after the haul:

racindog
Yep Duncan thought this handsome guy needed some of your love! And that you probably needed some of his too. I love Roman noses and parrot mouths-and to think Elliot has both! You are a lucky greyhound moma to have recieved Elliot. He looks like he is very intelligent-he's probably trying to tone it down though so he can get away with more [treats]. Congratulations and welcome Elliot!
