Guest Vinnie Posted September 9, 2008 Share Posted September 9, 2008 We are so very sorry - hearing that diagnosis is mind and body numbing - not to mention the crying and anger that comes with it. Hoping the meds help - if she looks like she's hurting more - don't worry about giving her more to help control the pain - it got so that we could tell with our Angel Vinnie - he would get a high pitched yip and you could see the veins on his muzzle stick out clearly due to the stress and pain. If you haven't already, you may want to contact Dr. Cuoto for another opinion - perhaps something that could help her more than just meds? He is our hero. packmom Posted September 9, 2008 Share Posted September 9, 2008 My thoughts are with you. I also have an 11 year old girl who most likely has osteo in her shoulder. It just showed up on an x-ray of her chest she had because she was in ICU for liver failure. That's getting better but the osteo won't go away! Dr. C is pretty sure and we have an X-ray scheduled for thurs. to check its progress. I am so sick of this cancer eating away my family! Just give her lots of love and all her favorite things.
