Thank you all for you kind words it means so much to me ....

I still can't believe what happened Elly passed away suddenly sunday evening . Elly was found by me deceased outside in the yard afew minutes after I had let the dogs out for their last bathroom break before bedtime . Cam and I tried CPR and artificial respiration but it was too late she was already gone . She was 9 years old . We believe Elly suffered a fatal aneurysm . After reviewing our security camera everything thing was normal she was running around with Alvin he had peed , she had just finished peeing and she turned around and was walking to come up the deck steps and before she reached them she stopped and swayed a bit and just fell over on her side and died . It also shows Alvin running back to her from the patio doors to sniff her and then coming back up to the patio door I was out there 3 minutes after letting them out and found her she was already gone I am absolutely devastated . I had adopted Elly 3 years ago . She was a spunky bossy brood mom who had gone though so much in her life and it never affected her spirit . She had survived a broken hock which was never set properly but that never slowed her down . She had huge corns on 3 of her paws, she never compained while I hulled them out . She had also survived Babisia .Elly was always running around trying to get Alvin to play with her . That's what she was doing moments before she passed . Oh Susan I'm so sorry . Who would think that in 2 short years we would loose 4 of our beloved babies to Osteo You know I will always be there for you . I can see them now Jeanie , Jack , Chance and Jilly . Running pain free like they used to .....

I can't believe it's been 2 years since my girlie left us . I have cried a million tears .... I think of you and Chance every day and miss you with all my heart . I love you girlie you were one in a Million . Since you have left Ebby , Chance and you friend Jack have joined you at the bridge may you all run pain free . See ya guys love mommy

We all miss you so much Chance .You will always be my Baby Boy and dad's Champion . Grandma misses you running to the door to greet her when she comes over . Jeanie is there with you , till I see you again my baby boy ....

I just let go of my Chance . I think I'm still in shock I can't believe that he is gone so quickly . I had come home and he was in my bedroom I opened the door and he went down the stairs next thing I heard is him screaming in pain . Called my son to come help me take him to the vet he had to carry him he couldn't walk . Vet took x-rays and he had osteo in his front leg and his leg was broken . I am absolutly devasted that he is gone . I can't belive that another one of my hounds had been taken by Osteo . He was such a good boy always following me where ever I went in the house he was my shadow . he loved to chase the giant Grey squirrels in our back yard and bark at the evil crows who would sit on the wires cawing at him . Chancey we miss you and love you so much , I know jeanie will be there with you . Good bye my sweet boy mommy loves you so much ....

Jeanie I can't believe it's been a year since you left us . It feels like yesterday I miss you so much . I know Chance also misses you. I think of you all the time , things are just not the same anymore . Here is a picture of you taken the morning you left us with you're favorite kitty Ebby . You loved to lick Ebby she was with you till the end as were the rest of the family and all the pets . You were a special girl who will always be in my heart I'll never forget you

Hi Sydney and welcome . Thanks for emailing me and letting me know that Monarch is Elly's sister . They really do look alike ! It's nice to know where Elly's littermates are .
