Guest beerdogs31 Posted May 30, 2008 Share Posted May 30, 2008 We had to let our sweet baby boy Lager go yesterday after a short battle with tongue cancer. He was taken from us much too soon and very unexpectedly. We miss him so much already. Our couch is empty and our hearts are hurting..... Thanks Lager for taking care of your deaf brother Porter and showing him the way of the hearing, for being the gentle alpha to your little brothers Porter and Pilsner, for being so sweet and gentle with everyone that crossed your path, for being a good grey ambassador, for always pooping in the same spot in the yard (so easy to clean up!), for being our alarm clock for 6 years, for keeping my legs warm while I slept, for guarding the couch, for never demanding more than a soft place to lay and some petting, for ignoring the cats even though you wanted a piece of them, for being enthusiastic for every walk, for moving across the country twice with us, for being my special boy.
