  1. Betsy was like this when she first came home. I just gently steered her to the grass before she peed or pooped. She's pooping on the walkways again now that she's 14--at 14, poop just happens. She's not the only dog in this house with that problem.
  2. I hope Robin's dental goes well and he is soon back to enjoying his meals.
  3. I'm so very sorry. She clearly was an extraordinary little girl. Godspeed Wag.
  4. Whew! I hope she heals quickly and the antibiotic doesn't have too many side effects.
  5. I'm so very sorry. Your precious handsome boy had to leave much too soon. Godspeed Joseph.
  6. I'm glad he's home. I hope he heals quickly and well.
  7. I've used plastic garden fence to separate areas--easier to see than wire. Don't think the seed will cause any trouble if anybody should happen to eat it. Have had a few bird seed eaters here, and the only one who departed left due to OS, not bird seed. Have also overseeded the lawn (without fencing it off) every year, also without any issues.
  8. I hope the treatment makes him feel better soon.
  9. I'm so very sorry. What a horrible shock and awful loss. He was much too young. Godspeed Hero.
  10. Congratulations! I thought the modesty was a great pic, but I think the aw shucks pic is even better.
  11. Also no advice. Just best wishes for Roodie.
  12. Congratulations! She's lovely. Glad she's settling in so well. And thrilled to have (another) pro posting pics. Gives the rest of us something extra to admire.
  13. I'm so sorry. Godspeed Tom Sawyer.
  14. I'm so very sorry. I wish he could have stayed longer. Godspeed Pop.
  15. Another vote for Batmom's view. I have two on thyroid meds, but only after the MSU panel, which includes an interpretation by an endocrinologist.
  16. He's handsome even when he's a bit dopey. Glad he made it through OK and is feeling better.
  17. It's my clinic's go-to drug for diarrhea. Some of mine will eat the powder on their food; others have to be pilled with capsules which the clinic gets from a compounding pharmacy. When Minnie was first diagnosed with IBD, my then-vet suggested mixing the powder with a tiny amount of garlic powder. I haven't used that trick since, but it did work.
  18. What a horrible shock. I'm so very sorry. Godspeed Coyote.
  19. Glad she's doing well. FWIW, Mirtazapine didn't work for Jessie. She's on anabolic steroids to stimulate appetite. Has kept her going for months. (She gets a ton of other stuff, including Zantac.)
  20. I am so very sorry. She was a stunning girl, and she left much too soon. Godspeed Lily.
  21. Hoo boy. You need a break. I hope both puppers feel better soon.
