  1. I'm so very sorry. Joe was the perfect start to your greyhound adventure. Godspeed Joe.
  2. I'm sorry that the news is not better, but relieved that it is not yet Jilly's time. Hang in there Jilly Bean. You're one tough little monkey.
  3. I'm so sorry. Godspeed Watson.
  4. I'm so very sorry. She was much too young to have to leave. Godspeed Kia.
  5. I'm so very sorry. As Robin said, Cleo was a force with which to be reckoned. Godspeed Cleo.
  6. I'm so very sorry. She was much too young. Godspeed Lady.
  7. I'm so very sorry. Godspeed Truman.
  8. Hope the fluids do the trick and she soon feels better.
  9. Congratulations! I'm so glad she's (finally ) home and settling in. Our families gave us a little of the "Seriously?!?" treatment, too when we adopted number three - and again when we went back to three after we lost Gabe to osteo. But that didn't last long, especially after they'd met the pups. Now the "grandkids," are adored by all. Hope your mother comes around soon. Lol. She will. When we got our SECOND (Norm) which brought us to 4 dog, her first question was....are you a hoarder? I'd really like her meet folks like Judy or Pat or Heather and dare ask that question!! (and of course so many more of you. Those are just the names that came to me quick!) My mother just rolls her eyes. She has long since given up trying to learn names/faces. She remembers the poodles.
  10. I'm glad he's home. I hope he starts to feel better soon. Hemorrhagic Gastroenteritis (bloody diarrhea). There is some info here: Petplace.com re HGE
  11. I'm so very sorry. He did leave much too soon. Godspeed Tucker.
  12. Congratulations! She's lovely. I've had 5 broodies here (3 currently), all seniors when adopted. They have differed in a lot of ways, but they've all been sweet, easy to work with, and very playful. If I had room, I'd bring home another in a heartbeat.
  13. Glad she's a bit better. Hope she's much better by the morning.
  14. It can, yes. But we've used it for Minnie (two types of severe IBD diagnosed > 10 years ago via scope). We also give her a stomach drug (Misoprostal). I like to start the Misoprostal at least a half day before the Meloxicam, and I continue to use it for several days after the last dose of Meloxicam.
