  1. You may be able to buy Methocarbamol in a drug store. The brand name is Robaxin (NOT Robaxacet, Robaxisal, or Robax, all of which have pain killers too). I've used it in dogs with gut trouble and it didn't bother them at all. No other serious side effects either.
  2. I am so very sorry. For both of your losses. Godspeed Dylan.

  12. Sometimes it has to do with the dog's feet. Edie and Cal were both prone to it. I've used Soft Claws on the nail that causes the problem: https://www.softclaws.com/soft_claws_dogs/home.html I don't glue it on, just put in on firmly.

  17. Oh that poor guy. He was in agony. I'm glad you were able to detect the problem and have something done about it. I really hope he heals well and can soon walk as well everywhere as he did on the grass.
  18. I've had a lot of hounds x-rayed for one reason or another in the last 8 1/2 years. Most were fine without any meds. Sometimes the views were just too painful and drugs were given. That's not too likely for a foot or a chest. When they were medicated, it was sedation or a pain drug, not a full general anesthetic.
  19. It's wonderful that you were able to work things out with Jesse and enjoy your time with him. I am so very sorry that you lost him. He was much much too young. Godspeed Jesse.
