  4. So sorry to hear this. Your family is in my thoughts
  5. What an awful awful time for your whole family. I'm so sorry for those loss of these two sweeties.
  6. I don't come on Greytalk much anymore at all, but oh man, do I remember those days of the Banjo Boys well. I am so very sorry for your loss. My heart hurts for you
  7. Second question - the compounding pharmacy we use at my vet clinic doesn't have the tranexamic acid but DOES have aminocaproic acid available in 350/375/400 mg capsules. Would this be equivalent to the generic of Amicar then?
  8. If my greyhound is over 75#, could he use the 650 mg of the Tranexamic acid in a tablet form? Or would it still be recommended to have it compounded down into the 500 mg size?
  9. I just learned today of Shawn's passing after I wasn't able to get ahold of him for his annual participation in the GT Christmas Card Exchange. Shawn was always an eager participant, even the years that he wasn't feeling very well around the holidays. I'm so very sad to hear that he lost his battle with cancer, I had always just assumed he would rally again and again. Rest in peace, Shawn. As late as I am to this sad news, I know I'm not the only one missing you this holiday season!
  10. Happy happy birthday, sweetie pie!!! :baloons I understand your issues all too well :grouphug
  11. The stairs are steep enough that if we ramped just them, I think it would just be a slide that he'd either slip down in his wobbly state or he'd try to jump over all three. We can't extend it further to make it less steep due to it's location. So so so frustrating! And yes, we're fighting the LS monster here too
