  1. Hey, thanks for the perspective!! Kevin's life insurance currently sucks. Maybe I should stop the coconut oil now.
  2. I bought some caps. last night. I am going to add them to Kevin's and my regime for a while. I am considering adding it to the dog's supplements also.
  3. I dunno...didn't I see a picture of him in a "1/2" racing silk a few years ago? Are you sure you haven't been running him in some sort of seedy underground 'Tzu race circuit? That was James Dean. Yeah, He does seem a bit traumatized there doesn't he.
  4. Exactly!! : :nod Our 'Tzu, Rocky, dreams all the time too. I'm pretty sure he has never even seen a race track. Especially since we got him when he was like 5 months old. But, you know, I suppose, it is possible that perhaps, once, when he was a tiny puppy, he might have caught a glance of a race track during his few months of life before we got him. I'm sure it was such a terrifying experience for a tiny puppy that, 11 years later, he is still having nightmares about it. :rofl
  5. It was recommended by our holistic Vet for our 'Tzu James Dean to assist with his HBP and ERF. The caps. did change color depending on the temperature conditions in our home though. It was kind of weird to see clear caps. one day and cloudy caps. the next day. No clue if the affects were positive for JD or not. He did take a lot of supplements during that time. I think he lived about 2 or 3 years after his initial diagnosis though.
  6. A quick search for "nails" showed 106 topics. There are several members who good information about SLO and their greyhounds.
  7. Just generic information on toe amp. Our bridgekid Dixie came to us with a front outside toe already amputated. She broke it while racing. The kennel amputated it and she went back to racing and winning. She actually broke another toe and that is why she was turned over the to adoption group. So, given my limited experience, my decision would be to amputate a toe if I were faced with the decision. Good luck and I'm sure your decision will be correct.
  8. Sounds like zits to me. Squeeze 'em.
  9. I am so very sorry for the loss of your beloved Saint.
  10. :grouphug Did they any anything about Denamarin or other liver support products?
  11. Are you sure she is a greyhound? :rofl
  12. Full or irritated anal glands don't always cause scooting. My previous dog licked a lot. Worth bringing him to the vet. :nod
  13. Sounds like it's butt juicing time.
  14. Sending healing energy and warm snuggles your way.
  15. We have flat stuffies too. All four here are guilty of relishing in stuffy guts.
  16. :yay Dragons are great! They share their strength and energy, and build confidence. :yay Dylan came home with a dragon stuffy when we adopted him. He was a spook. He spent the first three days home pacing he house with the dragon stuffy clenched in him teeth, watching us in case we tried anything untorrid toward him. After three weeks, he decided we were OK, he tore up the dragon stuffy and never looked back. Yup, dragons rule!
  17. Great suggestion. Probably better than the hot glue I tried.
  18. Boots. And bagbalm or Mushers Secret. GEM also has Pawz for sale. However, being a Florida gal, I really have no idea. You probably want to heed the advice of the experienced cold-weathers owners.
  19. Nancy is correct My ID number is in my signature. OxyFresh Vendor ID is 180672239 so, Wendy, can I order it from you? You can order it from Oxyfresh and use my ID# when it asks for for it. I am too cheap to buy a webpage from Oxyfresh. :lol And thank you.

  21. Yup. I use any leftover bread, bagels or English muffins as a treat. Stale, fresh, they don't care. The funny in our house is that Rocky the 'Tzu doesn't like bread, but he now eats it just so the greys don't get it. :rofl
