A quick Google search found this old article that mentions dose: about melatonin for dogs Yes, you can get melatonin at Walmart. Tonight (12/24)should be a nice quiet night to go shopping. Walgreens might be saner. Look for the Rescue Remedy too. It's in a little bottle. GNC carries it.

Lesa, have you tried Rescue Remedy drops? They're available at most health food stores. Don't bother putting the drops in the water bowl, but drip some inside her mouth. How about melatonin? It wouldn't be quick-acting and I'm not sure of the dose.

Does it look like this? If it looks like this it's a histiocytoma and benign. Gracie has one that comes and goes (although not completely away).

Wally just had 2 lesions removed, both benign. One of the lesions looked like that and it was on his inner thigh. Bled like crazy when the vet picked at it. Pathology report on both came back as vascular hamartoma. I'd certainly keep an eye on Marx's lesion. An ordinary scab from a nick of some kind wouldn't bleed that much. An history of a clotting disorder? Hope it's nothing or at least something simple.

I agree with leaving out the olive oil until he'd eating regularly. Is he drinking water OK or throwing that up too?

My Gracie has a similar problem with a front leg, limping after a hard run in the yard. Didn't happen every time. When she had her dental her shoulder was xrayed and showed evidence of bursitis. We give her Tramadol as needed, but not often.

I am only able to post these by right clicking on the thumbnail image on photobucket for "copy image location". If I click on the image to view it solely and them right click & copy the "copy image location", the picture won't load here and I still get the message 'dynamic pages in the (IMG) tags are not allowed".

test Tried it again using the right click on properties. Does not say URL but does say Location. Highlighted, copied, pasted, still won't post.
