Hello and welcome from up Stafford County way! Even though you won't have your dog yet, their is a weekend event in Fredericksburg Nov. 12 and 13, Greyhound Rocks. The admission is a bit hefty, but there are some very fine speakers and the cause is so important.

I know y'all had a beautiful last weekend at Dewey, (I was in the ABT beach Shanty Town) and I remember the remarkable Miss Bee from GIG. It was like meeting a celebrity. I am so sorry you had to say good bye so very soon. We never ever have long enough.

My heart just crashed when I saw this thread. My Scout was recently diagnosed with osteo in her left hind knee. Deramaxx, 2 or 3 tramadol and half a xanax seem to be keeping my Scout pain free. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your Scout.

Tanner was such a joy, and such a wonderful adoption ambassador. Since he brought you into the greyhound world, there are a whole lotta people who have many reasons to be grateful to Tanner. When you feel you can, I would love to see the pic of Tanner in his "coat of, ummm, many 'colors'."
