  3. I went through this with Sugar, except I knew what was wrong, her kidneys were failing. Have you tried things like sulcrate (sp?) or some of the other stomach meds?
  4. Interesting! I will check prices/availability at my nearest Target.

    Chase Is Gone

I am so sorry I know the last 10 months were the best of her life.
  6. have her neck/upper spine area checked! sounds like when Molly pulled something in her neck.
  7. If the idea of handling the raw meat really gags you, say, if you are a vegetarian, then go with the ground, I think it would be easier to deal with.
  8. poor boy has been through the wringer! for good results!
  9. Don't worry, they won't choke unless you give them too small a piece, like a chicken neck or wing. If your dogs are gulpers, try for at least a leg quarter. If not, a drumstick is probably ok. Also, don't be worried if they chomp, chomp, swallow, and then yak it back up and re-eat it Gross, I know, but this is fairly common in the beginning, until they learn to chew properly. You can go with the ground commercial mix, but it is likely more expensive and you won't get the teeth cleaning benefits.
  10. I hope it was just a one time thing! You could give her a little canned pumpkin to firm her up
  11. Good idea to have it checked. I hope it turns out to be nothing serious!
  12. Traumeel tablets worked well for Fletcher's arthritis for a couple of years. Unfortunately, it has gotten worse and we have had to switch to NSAIDs. Acupuncture was a huge help for my old girl who had arthritis and spinal problems, in fact, it got her walking again, about 90% normal, after she was almost unable to stand or walk. I am going to try and find an acupuncturist for Fletcher. I take Boswellia for my own arthritis, and it is in Fletcher's supplement, Arthrisoothe Gold. The yucca drops helped him, but he had to stop taking it because of his IBD.
