  1. I am so sorry but it is true, they tell you when it's time
  2. I am so sorry you didn't have more time with him
  3. I don't know how effective it would be given as needed. Most supplements like this need to build up in the system, and I definitely saw an improvement over time. I give her two a day, one in the morning and one at night, she is 60 lbs. If there is a bad storm, or fireworks at the baseball park, I give her a melatonin tablet as well. I give that as needed, but the melatonin alone wasn't enough before I started using the Calmplex.
  4. I put all my dogs on FF as soon as I get them (they've all been 6 or older) (except Fletcher!) and even Fletcher with his IBD did not have any stomach problems. I recently started Sallie on their Stress Free Calmplex to see if would help. She is afraid of storms, fireworks, and recently, high winds. It isn't a cure-all, but it has helped. I really only need to drug her during the 4th of July (two large fireworks displays very near me). They also get Joint Health. Molly has recently started having some back end weakness, so I think I am going to switch to the advanced formula. I already have to break them in half for the Princess
  5. I am so sorry I know it is a terrible shock for you, but better for her to go quickly, and at home.
  6. I am so sorry. She was such a beautiful girl.
  7. I wouldn't go to the vet unless it keeps popping out. Sallie dislocated an outside toe on Monday, popped it back in and she was OK, just limping a bit by the next day. Then the little erm, monkey, snuck outside early Friday morning and now it is broken So, be sure you make him take it easy, probably for a couple of weeks.
  8. Thanks! I don't splint the outside toes, although we did for the middle toe. She is much better this morning, still gimpy, but more willing to put some weight on it. Just needs some time now, and a way for me to explain to the girls that we can't go for walks until Sallie's toe is better!
  9. Sallie has a wonky foot, her right rear. She has dislocated the outside toe, broken one of the middle toes, and on Monday she dislocated the outside toe again. Sigh. That was much better by the next morning, but I had my vet look at it, she thought it might have been broken, but it seemed better so we didn't do anything. Then, this morning she went outside before I got up and (probably) ran around the yard. I got up and found her trying to get back in through the dog door without putting any weight on the bad foot. If it wasn't broken before, it is now. I am torn between "poor baby" and "dumb dog"! I have given her some Tramadol, and half a rimadyl, I hope she feels better tomorrow.
  10. An injection in the eyeball gives me the shivers too, but if it helped, that's what counts. I hope he is feeling better soon!
  11. Judy, I am so sorry. Bebe was a special girl and I know you will miss her, but think how happy Trish will be to be with her again.
  12. I have been giving Fresh Factors to various dogs for 10+ years, never noticed a weight gain.
  13. I am so sorry, she was a beautiful girl
  14. He's probably just empty Both my girls like to mark on walks, and I notice that towards the end of the walk, they often squat and I don't see anything come out.
  15. Poor Huston! Sallie lost one of her canines last year (along with 20+ other teeth) and I was surprised how fast she recovered. About the only difference is no more whole duck necks and a lot more ETS
  16. continued I hope you can get this under control, even if you never figure it out!
  17. Oh no! I am so sorry, he was such a gorgeous dog
