  1. Wonder if you have to use a poopstage stamp?
  2. Where should we send our samples?
  3. Please tell my neighbors. I'm thinking about getting a pack of these to send a message - https://www.etsy.com/listing/637217434/72-scoop-the-poop-flags-you-stick-in-dog
  4. I figured this was way different in the way of symptoms but figured I'd mention the parvo outbreaks just in case. We've also had a number of media warnings here about increased dog flu cases of various types and a spike in Lepto cases, so it's kind of hard to look at everything that's going on since they all have many crossover symptoms. Hope he's feeling better soon and that you get to the bottom of this.
  5. There is actually an increase in parvo cases here in AZ affecting all dogs, not just puppies. Given the fever, I figured I'd mention it just to make sure it has been ruled out. Edited to add - a quick search of news results on Google shows that there were parvo outbreaks last summer in San Antonio with a large increase in cases. May be worth asking the vet to definitely rule it out, although it sounds like your vet is very thorough and may have already done so.
  6. The University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson is the authority on Valley Fever out here. It's very common here in the desert, especially after exposure to dust or a dust storm/haboob during our monsoon season. We just had a lot of digging done in the yard to install new irrigation and some drains. During the job we actually had to keep Petunia out of the yard while they were digging due to the potential for Valley Fever to be contracted from the dust. https://vfce.arizona.edu/valley-fever-dogs/symptoms
  7. Reba and Octane, you scored too! Somehow, I missed your fry pics yesterday. My brain is still getting used to the new look of the site, but somehow I did not see that perfect beg for fries! Rocket would have been proud of that one! I miss that boy so much. There are just some things he did so predictably, like heading for the car whether he was invited on the ride or not, and drooling all over my leg when I had fries . Petunia does not have the same "fry drive" as Rocket. She will very politely take one fry from me and go to her bed, eat it and go to sleep, She never comes back for another. We had to delay Petunia's fries due to a tummy issue, but she will get them when her tummy is feeling better. She has just completed the first round of Dr. Ng's modified Prison Protocol for hooks and we didn't want to upset her stomach any further since it's just now starting to get better.
  8. This was awesome! I loved how it sort of formed into a circle toward the end while looking for the next fry! Rocket would be proud!
  9. Milo and Jeter - SCORE!!! I guess we should refer to the Astro Van as The Rocket Ship!
  10. We are on Pacific time here now, so Petunia and Snickers will have some fries a little later. Snickers is visiting for the weekend. And - in honor of the Fry Boy himself -
  11. It is listed as Advantage Multi with (Advocate) in parentheses on the Pet supply Express web page. It is there.
  12. I'm not seeing many of the pictures in user signatures. Some work, some don't. My own signature photo displays sharedmedia=gallery:images:33619] but does have the text links that are supposed to be there I'm using Chrome if it makes a difference.
  13. Seems like yesterday. Paddy, "you dun good" sending Annie to CG. She is carrying on the mayhem. You taught us that every house needs a little mayhem now and then. (This emoticon seemed appropriate for Paddy)
  14. But the important question is: What's on the smoker while you're doing this? Thanks for all you do!
  15. This is awesome! You can see how focused he is even in a still picture. Way to go Octane (and Mom!)
  16. For those wondering, Phoenix has a French Fry Festival on April 20. In a previous post about that, it was decided by several GT'ers that April 20 would be a good day to buy your greyhound some French Fries and share them in honor of Rocket and his obsession with French Fries. . Here's an article about the Fry Fest in Phoenix. And - here's the original post that brought up the idea. So this Saturday, share some fries with your hound, and have a laugh or two while thinking about Rocket standing in front of my chair, soaking my pants with buckets of drool whenever I brought home some fries. I miss my goofy boy.
  17. 5 years just doesn't seem possible. We miss you, Seamie. We just do.
  18. I get it. Even with Petunia here, I'm still looking for Rocket to come waltzing down the hallway with a big smile on his face. It gets better, but it takes a long time. Hang in there.
  19. Hmmmmm...... From one of our road trips! I miss the Fry Boy.
  20. Happy Birthday Conner!!!! We love you, buddy. Petunia says a little peanut butter on those waffles is a tasty thing!
  21. You might want to do a consultation with Dr Cuoto if you haven't already done so. We did one for Rocket when he has having trouble walking and it was money well spent to know that our vet was on the right course of treatment at the time, because the x-rays literally showed nothing and it was difficult to find something that worked for him. He will use you current x-rays and give you a way to submit them electronically if you have them, or will also work with your vet to do the consult. He is the expert when it comes to greyhound issues like this. He responds quickly, to emails even when traveling. http://www.coutovetconsultants.com/ Also see the Greyhound Health Initiative for more info on him and the consultation options that are available to their members. He does consults through both his own practice and GHI, so you can go through either organization should you decide to have him do a consult. Good luck.
  22. I'm so sorry for your loss, Karen. Ruby was very much loved and she knew that from day one. Run-pain-free, Ruby.
