  1. Yep - by the time I know there's a storm coming, all eating, drinking and sitting still has stopped! In fact refusal of a treat is often the first clue...Gary's xanax just gets stuffed down
  2. Marc, I'm very sorry but she had a wonderful life and was deeply loved. Take care.
  3. I'm so sorry to hear this. She's lovely.
  4. She'll have so many friends to meet, she'll be well taken care of - tell her to find the three old gals in hats - Molly, Sophia and Greta, they can show her the ropes.
  5. Deb, so so sorry. She belonged with you and had all the best. Take care.

Deb and John I was so sorry to read this. What a good life you gave that beautiful boy.
  7. I'm so sorry to read this. This is very similar to what happened to Molly - she was panting, fell over, howled and died. The felt felt it was cardiac and that she would not have been conscious at all. Take care of yourself
  8. Gary gets a slice of whole grain bread every morning. Can't speak for stomach issues, but it keeps him out from underfoot while I try to make my lunch, and he acts like I just gave him the best treat in the world!
  9. Janet, I'm so sorry to read this! She was very loved. Take care of yourself.

    Gustav's Gone

    Oh, I'm so sorry!
  16. What a lovely story, I'm so sorry that she's gone. She was meant to be with you.
  17. I had a terrier with this - by the end we had to keep him confined when we weren't home for his own safety, and he developed incontinence, so we let him go at that point. He was always such a sharp little character, it was so hard to watch him, but in the end there was no quality of life left, and quite frankly I don't think he remembered who we were most of the time. All the best to you as you deal with this
  18. Oh, Deb, I'm so sorry to read this. She had a wonderful home, and was truly loved. Run free little Tila!
