Kerry, I'm glad Merlin will be OK. Based on what you said, it does sound like it was wise you went to the E-vet. Yes, a dog can escape accidentally, but if you have a self-described "psycho" dog, you need to take extra precautions (which clearly she did not). I hope she is a woman of her word and pays the vet bill (and we don't end up seeing you on Judge Judy ) Marc and the Joisey Girls

Yep, they look like tapeworms to me, too. I've been spared that joy with the hounds, but I had a cat that used to get them from time to time (different species, though). He would get them from the critters he hunted - actually their fleas.

I feed the girls Pro Plan Selects salmon and brown rice kibble. They like it and it seems to agree with them. Occasionally, I'll add a small amount of Pro Plan Selects canned salmon and brown rice when her grace, er, Nadia, gets picky. Sardines added to their kibble all around for a special treat.
