Guinness and a Mince Pie

Recommended Posts

Sounds like a nice combination until I tell you that Guinness is my greyhound not a pint of the dark stuff and the mince pie is the one he snaffled off the coffee table at my friends house.
Luckily the foil container confused him long enough for me to retrieve the crumbled mess from his food inhaler using shock and awe, also known as shout and grab, while he's looking at me with the what's up expression.

:lol This will become your Infamous Christmas Incident…ours involves a Terry’s chocolate orange which we had to try and trade up (aka bribe him) with some turkey to distract him long enough to retrieve the chocolate. I did actually fear for my life (well, at least some of my fingers) during this incident

:lol There’s always a Christmas incident and now you have yours! Our angel Aiden’s was the best too. He’d been retired only a short while and I’d been looking forward all day to baking Magic Cookie Bars. I arrived home to discover the box of graham crackers strewn throughout the living room and a pup with uncharacteristically delightful breath. :reindeer

Our most infamous Christmas Incident was when I took dear Eve to work with me the day before the holiday, and she made a good faith attempt to eat the gingerbread house on display in the lobby in front of numerous horrified or amused witnesses.

Just because the humans weren't eating perfectly good food right in front of them didn't mean she had to be stupid, too.   Looks like Guinness's thought processes were similar.

Ours involved The First Mr Patsy and my first as an adult cat named Pete. Pete had an absolutely unhealthy obsession with curling ribbon. Have you ever chased a cat thru your house with 6" of curling ribbon hanging out of his butt?
