LaFlaca
When Jenny gets a chew, like a bully stick, she paces throughout the house with the thing hanging out of her mouth like a cigar. This can continue for several minutes and over the course of several days. She will ‘bury’ the chew behind the couch cushions and under her beds sometimes skinning her nose with the effort. She will switch hiding places several times a day. In our house, you must be very careful where you sit so as not to be impaled by a bully stick. 😱 Do your Greys hide their food or toys? ShebasMom
Sheba gets a dental chew every morning after her meal. Her usual behavior is to lick the good-tasting coating off it (saves chewing it for later) and then place the slobbery gooey chew on my leather guest chair and wipe her mouth on the chair arm. I wondered why this chair that hardly ever gets sat upon has such a dirty-looking arm and seat!

GreyPoopon
Pam--> I haven't had a Greyhound who wanted to bury treasures, but I have had several who would take a special treat away to eat. Banjoman
My whippet Chester would ‘bury’ his chew in the middle of the living room carpet then sit on the settee or a dog bed and watch to make sure nobody went near it. If one of the other whippets so much as moved (they all received one at the same time) then he would be up and grabbing it and take it off to bury somewhere else. It gave the family hours of harmless fun because you just had to say “I’m going to get....” and he was up like a shot and rescuing the chew just to go and hide it in full view again. He was one for hiding chews behind cushions too! Quote Miss "England" Carol with Chancey - (Goosetree Chance) and whippet lurcher Nutmeg R.I.P. Bluegrass Banjoman. 25.1.2004 - 25.5.2015 and Ch.
