Guest tricolorhounds
My corgi had a splenectomy at 12. It was a 5 lb tumor in a 23 lb dog. I lost her at 14 to kidney failure. I pray for an easy fix and many more years for Bruiser. What Holly said... Our Lab had a softball sized spleen that was removed at age 13... she lived for 2 more years. 4My2Greys
I have initial good news!!! Surgery went well. It was a 4 lb mass that was limited to the spleen. The mass had ruptured, which explains the weakness and chills he was experiencing on Sunday. Now for the next major hurdle, the biopsy, It is benign. Here's Bruiser this morning with the young lady who took care of him during his surgery.
