Sue comes over every afernoon to let the dogs out, and Tina was her special favorite. This morning, I left her a picture of Tina, and wrote on the back "Girls just wanna have fun", the song I know Tina always sang in her heart. Tonight on my way home from in the car, I turned the radio on, which I rarely do, and lo & behold, what comes on, but Tina's song, "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!" I felt such joy and laughed out loud! Remembering Tina I feel so lucky to have seen you everyday As you always put a smile in my day! You were full of character, different from the boys And you liked to BARK and play with toys! Getting up from the bed was a tough go, I know- And some days, creaky bones, I felt your woe. But you would always follow the pack, and troop out to play. Business first-then you were on your way! The boys would always want to go back in, They were done with outside, and wanted treats to begin. But, you would tease with a toy, saying, "Chase me- let's Play" Then mosey back in, in your own special way. In the snow, you were at your prime After a big stretch, it was "your" time The cold never seemed to bother you very much- The boys would shiver and shake and such! Inside you were regal on your throne- the little "Princess" at home I will miss you, and I feel it's a shame, but I'm thankful that you are in no pain Most of all. I'll recall, the way your little face smiled And the texture of your coat- a softer style. I will miss you so much "little lady Tina" I hope in heaven, you are a ballerina!
