Could Really Use Some Prayers

Recommended Posts

Poor Noelle has had strange seizures every night this week. It's strange because she doesn't get into what I would call a real seizure, just has rolling eyes, snapping mouth,& can't stand or walk. She is aware something is wrong & just looks at my like "Why do I feel this way?" I just talked to one of our good vets & he said to watch her closely, keep her meds up & bring her, her insulin & food into their office early Monday so they can run tests on her for me. Poor little girl sure has had it rough but Joe said the storms probably upset her system & since we are suppose to get a heat wave of 30 degrees this weekend he hopes it will help her. At least she has been quiet when these problems happen so none of the other dogs have really realized anything has happened, only Babe watches to see what I'm doing for her & keeps a close eye on our baby when everyone is up.

Poor baby girl!

I am sure the change in barometric pressure and the weather had something to do with it. I know, I get BAD migraines when the barometric pressure drops.

Sending love, hugs and many prayers your way!

:( Poor little bug. Do you think she could be having small strokes rather than seizures?

Hope you and your vet can get to the bottom of things. Sending prayers.

Last night wasn't as bad as the res of the week but it was stormy-that's tonight & tomorrow. I also noticed that when she comes out of her seizures she is so itchy all over her little body. I guess all the nerves can be set of edge with all the seizures she's having. I just hope the vets can find something tomorrow to help her.

I wonder if she's especially sensitive to static in the air during a storm. Try rubbing her down with fabric softener dryer sheets when it starts to get stormy.

For a longer term solution, maybe the Storm Defender Cape. If the static is driving her stress levels up and triggering seizures, the cape may be a big help.
