Guest Adrianne
Saturday, February 5th would have been my Larry's 13th birthday. Sunday, February 6th would have been my Wilbur's 13th birthday. And Tuesday, February 15th will mark one year since I said goodbye to Wilbur. I feel very honored to have known two very special dogs. I thank you, Wilbur, for showing me the way to Larry; I needed him. If not for the love you gave me, I could never have opened my heart to love another after losing you. I thank both of you for leading me to Chevy, who brings me joy & happiness. I think of you both every day, and I miss you. DesiRayMom
Adrianne: I just joined GT last year, and Larry was the first dog "I never knew" that I cried for when he had to leave. You have been so blessed to have loved 2 such special hounds. Rest in peace, handsome boys. Quote Blessed is the person who has earned the love of an old dog. Guest Mom2Shiloh
I watched both of the tributes this morning, Adrienne, and then couldn't help going on to Smiley's and Peanut's too! They're such beautiful, poignant memories -- how well you painted pictures of their lives. I cried a lot but the overwhelming thought was what wonderful people-- what wonderful souls these greyhounds were --- how blessed I am to be part of a community that includes such heart and such love, such awareness and such understanding. Thank you for including us in your memories -- much white light and bless your heart for loving them so and letting their love into your life.
