LakeshoreGreys Posted December 3, 2010 Share Posted December 3, 2010 Joe started limping last week, and the vet looked him over and said it was bursitis in his shoulder. Last night, after his supper time turnout, he could no longer put weight on it. This morning x-rays revealed osteo and a fracture - he had broken his leg last night. Joe was our bad @ss, our growly dog. The house seems so empty without him. Even Alex, the greyhound who won't stop eating until his food is gone - and everyone elses too! - could not finish his lunch today...something was wrong 'cuz his buddy wasn't there. We miss you Joe Joe. Thank you for a great 3.5 years! Sorry we didn't *demand* x-rays over the weekend instead of choosing to believe a brighter diagnosis from the vet. We could have saved you a lot of pain. I hope you forgive us. They are such important parts of our families, our lives and our happiness. Thank you for being such a great family to Joe.
