My Dr. thought I had a brain tumor a couple years ago and the mri place told me I'd have to wait a week to get the results!! I literally begged the tech to tell me if he saw anything, he said the only thing he could tell me was if he "didn't" see anything unusual, which thankfully he didn't. But again, why such a long process? You can't think of anything else and all the "what if" scenarios. There, that was my vent. sorry. She's tired this morning but doesn't seem to be bothered by the bandage - she's more concerned with the front leg where her IV was. She's on tramadol and deramax for now. So - now we just wait for the biopsy results. Thanks for all your prayers and good wishes. A few more for a good lab report would be appreciated!! HopeForHounds Posted July 17, 2010 Share Posted July 17, 2010 Glad to hear she did well and is home recovering. yeah, that IV site can be problematic. Please keep a close eye on it. A friend of mine who's girl had an amp last year got a nasty infection at her IV site. I'd clean it well with soap and water and if it looks at all red then put anitbiotic cream on it. I had to cover Foxy's IV site with a light layer of vet wrap just to keep her off it, I never thought to warn my friend about it.
