The adoption group, Central Ohio Greyhound Rescue, has also been amazingly kind. Their foster coordinator, Julie, and their president, Barb, both drove to Ohio State and sat with me while Sugar went through her surgery and scrambled to find funds for the surgery as well. Several doctors from the greyhound program at OSU have also called to express their condolences, even though Sugar wasn't in their care when this happened.
