queenwinniesmom
Robin, you are amazing! I know how terribly difficult this has been, and that you felt so much sadness and frustration, but you persevered. Because you love your sweet boy so much. To hear that he has gained his weight back is just the best news ever. Give Beau a collective hug from everyone who was praying that he would pull through. Guest laceyj
Wonderful news! Great job, Mom, Dad and Beau! I know it has been a long, frustrating and scary road and that you're not all the way to the end yet, but oh how far you've brought him. Not to mention making the journey with him through the devastation of losing his momma. You and your family are an inspiration. Give that boy a sloppy kiss from his litter mate. Guest Greytluv
I'm in tears. What greyt news. It just amazes me what this community will do for their babies. Anyone else probably would let the dog go. That is just not an option for any of us. We fight and we fight hard. I'm so glad Beau if feeling better. And I'm glad the vet is lowering the pred. My girl was on pred and it caused a lot of problems. If he needs to be on it the smaller dose the better.

Guest myjazzy
Robin, that is absolutely fantastic news. Now the boy needs to hit the gym. Just kidding. I'm sure that as he feels better and better, he'll be more active and be a buff Beau in no time. Cudos to your perseverance in finding out what was wrong with him and the patience to nurse him back to health. We'll keep sending good thoughts and white light that he doesn't have any flare-ups.
