kjw Posted January 7, 2009 Share Posted January 7, 2009 (edited) A little girlie very close to us here at Camp Greyhound has been battling a hemangiopericytoma on her leg for the past few years. This is a type of cancerous growth that recurs. Sadie has had 3 procedures on this growth, and it's come back more aggressively each time. She now has no other options left but to have her leg amputated. On the up side, the rate of mets is low; she should not have to worry about the cancer returning after surgery. Peekaboo Sadie needs your good thoughts, she is going in tomorrow and will have some work to do when she comes home. Her sister and litter-mate Storm (FTK Cyclone) will be there to help her all the way, as will many friends, myself included. Please keep a good thought for Sadie tomorrow, and in the coming days and weeks.
