Lilysmom Posted December 31, 2008 Share Posted December 31, 2008 (edited) Lily had her dental today. I was very nervous given she will turn 11 in Feb. To my surprise she had to have 6 teeth pulled One being her right front canine. She ended up under anesthsa for over 5 hours Her vitals were perfect during the surgery, thank goodness. She is home resting in the crate. We did manage to get her to eat a few bites of canned food to get her meds in her. I am at work and being a worried mommy would like to ask my gt family/friends to send healing prayers my girls way. DH is home with his brindle princess making sure she is ok and gets out for potty breaks when needed. He has even decided to sleep on an air matress in the living room to be near her in case she needs anything. It was rough last night and earlier today, but I just let her out to potty and I got a playbow and a bark with a spinning tail This was my first experience with a dog having teeth pulled so I wasn't 100% sure what to expect.
