Please don’t cry, my legs work now and I can fly. On my last day in March as I lay there on the floor, my body All numb and I could walk no more you gave me cookies and they Tasted so good, but it was time for me to find my star, So I could shine and light the night from afar. I will never really be gone, just look at your Grandma’s table Where my teeth left their mark. I did not mean to chew off the Rocking chair feet, I was new and did learn what that was not neat. You gave me a home for my last 10yrs, and so many stuffies That I loved so dear. Remember me helping you wash the dishes, Re-landscaping the yard and keeping it green. You got my message late in May, that you needed another hound To make your day. Molleigh has listened to my instructions well, I left her my scent so she could learn, that she was finally home. I do my Greyhound Roo with pride when Molleigh comes in from Outside, stands by my cookie jar with a gleam in her eye. Yes she has Learn well and is now in your heart. From up above I fly and play with all your other heart babies you loved Like me. So please Mom don’t cry your memories are set in love and time. You gave me my wings that day in March with love, so I could fly and watch from above. Molly P.S. Yes Molleigh the squeaker toys bug Dad the best, keep up the good work. No wonder you miss her so much. But you understood her well, and loved her even better, and it's clear that she returned that love every minute that you shared. She was too much of a presence to let your hearts and home remain empty. I firmly believe that our angels send us the ones they want us to have. Molly knew exactly what she was doing!
