The e-vet said they would not put him down without full bloodwork and x-rays ($500+) so we waited for this morning. Late last night his pain got so much worse. He was in so much pain this morning he tried to bite the vet. They used Dormitor first, and that didn't help as much as I'd hoped. He did not go easily and the vet saying "he was a fighter" was not much consolation. I am not sure I have ever cried as much as for this hard luck guy that nobody wanted.
