Guest tennesseegrey
My boy's finally home with me. He is getting around so well. He looks kind of freaky too without the whole back leg. They removed his leg and part of his pelvis, OUCH!!! He's sleeping so well and actually ran into the back door after peeing. He hasn't run in 2 months!! I'm so happy to have him back. He's wearing a draining tube and must go back tomorrow for removal. He's so skinny, but starting to eat better. If I can figure how to upload photos into this thing, I'll post some photos. It's a much different amputation from my Rosie's front leg amputation. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. We're glad to have him home. Tallgreydogmom
Welcome home Caesar. Rocky had his back leg amputated that way. I always wanted to put a black G String on him when we went out and people stared at him. Maybe stick a dollar in the waistband. Rocky enjoyed life to the fullest and would have loved it. queenwinniesmom
You may find that the back leg is a little easier than the front leg---I think people have said that. Winnie had the same leg amputated, and she went up and down 23 steps every day. I'm so glad Caesar is back home, and will be hoping that he heals quickly. Hang in there, and please let us know how he's doing.
