Lynn, you can ask for prayers, good thoughts whatever any time. They do help & you're right that getting old is the pits no matter what type of creature you are. Give the old man a hug & share the cool air with him.

Yep. Poor old Nevada (15+) didn't handle the heat well either. And we don't have your high humidity. I thought about her this week & was greatful that she doesn't have to deal with this summer heat. Give that boy some ice cream!!

Got home from work and he's back where he was, even with the house cool. We're heading to the vet at 4PM. I can't let this go all weekend and I'm getting out of my depth. I'm still hoping that it's something that'll rate me a dope slap and him a quick fix. 3 days ago he was still galloping out of his crate, trotting around the block (even though our walks are short, he still had a spring in his step) and grumbling at any dog that got in his way. Now he can't get up without help and couldn't care less if another dog laid down next to him on the dog bed.
