ozgirl2 Posted August 27, 2007 Share Posted August 27, 2007 (edited) I had to let my sweet, grumpy, one-person tortie, Ween, go to the bridge this morning. She hadn't been eating well (or at all) and it was time to let her go. I came to work 'cause I didn't want to stay home - the house is so empty! I'm not doing much here 'cept bawlin' my eyes out though... (Good thing there aren't many people in my office) When I brought her home from the vet, I buried her in my backyard. I need to find something nice to put there - right now, it's just outlined in stones (which is what I had to dig through). Somehow, it was comforting to be digging. I'm still a wreck though. I know she lived a grand old life and I'll miss her terribly. I had her for almost 1/3 of my life and my whole time in my house - 17 years! Chase some mice at the bridge and find Cody and BE NICE, my sweet one...
