Last night when I told her it was bedtime, she went straight for the loveseat (a little lower and easier to get onto from the floor, she discovered) and settled in. She made it through last night with no accidents --- a major accomplishment! :) And she's getting better about not knuckling under when she walks. She gave DH a little scare this morning --- he was helping her up the stairs after pottying by placing her back legs and she'd move her front ones, and he said she must have seen the landing at the top, because she took the last 2 stairs at the same time, and then made a beeline to me (in the bathroom, of course).

I just can't believe this is the same dog who two weeks ago, came home from her first ICU visit and had to be carried everywhere and couldn't even stand on her own. It's just amazing. I really give all of you a lot of credit - your prayers and good thoughts and white light have obviously made a difference. I don't think this recovery is just because of medicine (especially since the vets all said they weren't sure she'd recover) and my pryares alone. I can't thank you enough.

I tell you , this thread and Alan's is just heart warming. What seems hopeless in the beginning is so very far from it. Keep up the good work sweetie pie.
