Opal (Jax Opal) is 14 today! I started expecting to lose her in May of last year. Despite four vet visits last summer--during which she told four different stories about what hurt--and x-rays of most of her (some parts twice), she's still going. She's weak and wobbly, her hearing is sub-par, and she is on a small fortune worth of meds daily, but she is still a party girl. I haven't posted much since the owners of the bucket tried to turn it into a pot of gold for themselves, but it's been 8 1/2 years since I had a Greyhound of 14+ in the house, and I wanted to cheer. Happy 14th Opal!

Gotta do better than milkey bones, dad. Seriously.
