WOW...Wasn't expecting that....Not even sure this thread deserved that....probably why I don't post many questions here anymore unless it is just a yes or no...kinda thing...... Maybe I over-reacted. I of course know that they use anestesia, as does he, but he was dead serious in the way he described it. He is 100% behind neutering, (his are neutered and spayed), but he was acting so shocked at the WAY it was done... Well, you did say that he would never neuter his dog, so I think that's where it came from. Doesn't sound like he's quite 100% behind neutering to me. I made Kevin take Aggadore to the Vet when the cat needed PU sugery. :rofl

Yeah on the rotate it. We wormed every 2 or so months here in Florida.

No horses for me for a long time, but strongid has been around for a long time. I wonder if the worms have become resistant to it. I thought IverMec was the wormer of choice now days.

Welcome to Florida. From your picture and description, I would not deem this as an emergency in my house as long as there is no bleeding. If it is bleeding a lot, you can try cornstarch or flour to help stop it. If it starts bleeding in the morning, I would re-assess the nail and consider seeing a Vet during regular Saturday hours. I personally think just about any Vet should be able to stop bleeding of a toe, regardless of how greyhound knowledgeable they are. Good luck and let us know how Starbuck does.
