  3. Gabby ran her maidens at the same time Peanut and her litter did. In Gabby's last race, she ran against Rico (FTH Ricochet) and Jillysfullhouse's Pistol (FTH Sonofagun)

  5. Been there, done that times 2. I slipped a piece of gauze betweent he dew claw and the leg, then padded the claw and bandaged. The first time, I had planned to take Jake in to get the claw removed as it was at a 45 degree angle. When I looked a day later the nail was in the bandage. No vet visit needed. The last time not so bad an injury, so I put polysporin on it and let it heal. 5 days later his foot swelled, he had in infection. So either way, keep a close eye on it. I would suggest doing what I did the first time and bandaging it (after soaking it) Check it daily, but it will probably heal up fine.

  15. Probably a hystiocytoma, however I always recomend a vet check. If it isn;t a benign growth treating it early is the key to success. Plus if it bleeds it is open to infection and feet can be problematic. Praying it is benign and stays problem free.

  20. That was going to be my first question too. Welcome to you and Gabby. There are a number of Jacksonville folks on here. Peanut raced (sort of) at Orange Park. I'll be at Sandy Paws for the 3rd time, then we will spend a week in Jacksonville Beach.
