  1. I don't think Peroxide is good for open wounds. Can anyone comment if I'm correct or not?
  2. Are you sure it's not a staph infection? One time Grace had a rash which I thought was from the heat, and it was a staph infection. Maybe have the Vet check it out?
  3. Excessive licking can be a sign of stomach issues. Grace does this occasionally and will eat anything inside or outside. Our Vet put her on Prilosec and Reglan. It's helped tremendously. I would say tummy issue of some sort with your gal....
  4. Does anyone use the Sentinel pills for heart worm? I have a 1/2 pack (3 pills) I'd like to donate to someone. I hate to see them go to waste. The expiration date is 8/20
  5. I would get her to the Vet soon. If you would feel better, ask for an MRI. You need to find out what's going on with your sweet girl. Prayers going to you and your special girl. Keep us posted
  6. Daisy had chewed on a plastic container. She started vomiting every morning for several weeks. Bile and food. Had her checked, and there was a small piece of plastic stuck. I would definitely get her checked....
  7. I would highly recommend a consultation with Dr Couto. He figured Daisy's issue out right away....
  8. Wow, such an expensive drug!!!! Anyone know of places that are cheaper? He's taking 1 1/2 - 2 times a day 10 mg. He had an ultrasound (echo) ekg, and chest X-rays yeasterday...
  9. Grace is going in for her dental next Thursday. They can't get to her until 1:00pm. What time is the last time I can feed her safely?? They said nothing after midnight but she's not having it done until later afternoon and she tends to get GERD without food.
  10. Call for the Robaxin!!! Dylan was exactly the same way you are describing your boy. They started him on it IV and the next day, he was back to normal
  11. There's always a risk when using NSAIDS. We used Previcox on Dylan and that almost killed him, so with any anti inflammatory medication, there are risks. You have to way benefits/adverse reactions
  12. Pee him right after his meals. I bet he just had to tinkle...
  13. He looks wonderful!!!!! Great job with rehab!
  14. Has anyone tried Ziwi Peak air dried dog food? It's a raw dog food which is air dried instead of dehydrated. Our Vet recommended the Venison for Grace's allergies and tummy issues.
  15. We had Grace's titer panel done at UWMadison. Your Vet can draw the blood and send it to the Dr. Ronald Schultz Laboratory at the School of Veterinary Medicone. Dr. Schultz is one of the top Immunologist in the world and leads the Rabies Challenge. We had her distemper, parvo, and rabies done. She is well protected against all of the diseases.
  16. Praying for you this morning...
