That was indeed a fun morning........luckily Taylor didn't blow up the house.

6 years ago today, I adopted Taylor, my first Greyhound. These pictures were taken that day. I promised him (and also Facebook and Jagger) that day that I would always take care of him, and make each day a good day. Taylor was a happy boy. We were out and about for rides and walks, every single day. He was so laid back, mellow, and he loved his hugs. I miss my boy. R.I.P. my sweet boy, 12/11/08-3/23/17

Taylor would have been 9 years old today. He saved me, almost 6 years ago. I thought we would grow old together. I miss my boy. 12/11/08-3/23/17.

I went out for an hour this morning, leaving Jag alone for the first time since getting him less than 2 days ago. This is what I found when I got back. No one had moved.

I did ask about that. The daughter returned the dog for her father, and said they didn't want any further contact.

Facebook has a new brother, and his name is Jagger (answers to Jag). He is 8 years old (11 months older than Facebook), a little smaller (74 pounds), and a VERY happy boy!! He had been living with an older man in a 5th floor high rise condo for 3 years, but 2 months ago the man (at age 81) had to go into an assisted living home, and Jag was returned to his adoption agency in South Florida (the same place I got Taylor and Facebook from). I had TWO big Greyhounds for 4 years. Taylor was my first. My heart dog. He's been gone for 6 months. Facebook liked having another dog in the house, I liked having 2 dogs, and Jag really needed to get back to a home, and out of a kennel. They both get along great.
